INTERVIEW I Spokesperson of 3P spoke to Notario! Tunçay: "We will take legal action..."

 

After the MRP's "Turkish Party Programme" scandal was revealed, Peoples' Protection Party (3P) press spokesperson Ece Tunçay made statements on the agenda. 3P had achieved a significant success in the last elections and won 4 seats. With the right and planned programs, 3P has the possibility of becoming the main party in the Parliament.

Tunçay told Notario that the MRP's presentation of the party program in Turkish would not only be illegal but would also create serious problems for the representation of international students. On the other hand, he said that the MRP did not take into account the emphasis on the representation of international students, which was frequently repeated before the elections. In addition, he stated that the MRP's participation in the elections undermined the fair and transparent environment of the elections.

TUNÇAY PARTY PROGRRAMME IS INSUFFICIENT...

Continuing the interview with the words "... we think that they are quite deficient not only in terms of delivering their bylaws properly, but also in terms of the content of the bylaws, and for this reason, we see that the party is weak in communicating with the public and does not approach democratic principles in the right way." Tunçay reiterated his call for a "democratic environment" to the Electoral Council. 

LEGAL PROCESS AT THE DOOR!

Stating that 3P is the protector and guarantor of the will of the people with its entire legal team and representatives in Parliament, Tunçay also stated that the official and legal process will be initiated as of tomorrow morning. In addition, he asked all opposition parties to join their struggle. It called for all legal means to be used to ensure that the parties fulfill their obligations in the election process and to build an election process in line with international standards. 

WILL THE 3P FORM A COALITION?

After the MRP and AMP announced their coalition, all eyes turned to the opposition bloc. We asked the main opposition party 3P about the coalition. Tunçay emphasized that they are working on this issue, but the programs of the parties they will form a coalition with are important. He stated that 3P would not form a coalition just to achieve a quantitative majority, and that principled compatibility is more important. In addition, he stated that the party assembly, not the individuals in the party, would determine which party to form a coalition with. On the other hand, if necessary, they can be an effective opposition party without a coalition.

Öte yandan, seçim öncesinde sıkça tekrarlanan, uluslararası öğrencilerin temsili vurgusunun MRP tarafından dikkate alınmadığını ifade etti. Ek olarak, MRP’nin seçimlerde yer almasının seçimin adil ve şeffaf ortamını zedelediğini belirtti.

TUNÇAY: PARTİ TÜZÜĞÜ YETERSİZ…

Röportaja “… sadece tüzüklerini uygun teslim etmek konusunda değil, tüzük içeriği bakımından da oldukça eksik olduklarını düşünüyor, bu sebeple de partinin halkla iletişim konusunda zayıf olduğunu ve demokratik ilkelere doğru bir şekilde yaklaşmadığını görüyoruz.” sözleriyle devam eden Tunçay, Seçim Kurulu’na “demokratik ortam” çağrısını yineledi.

HUKUKİ SÜREÇ KAPIDA!

3P’nin tüm hukuk ekibiyle ve Meclis’teki temsilcileriyle halkın iradesinin koruyucusu ve teminatı olduğunu belirten Tunçay, yarın sabah itibarıyla resmi ve hukuki sürecin başlatılacağını da ifade etti. Ek olarak, tüm muhalefet partilerinin de mücadelelerine ortak olmasını istedi. Partilerin seçim sürecindeki yükümlülüklerini yerine getirmelerini sağlamak ve uluslararası standartlara uygun bir seçim sürecini inşa etmek için tüm hukuki yolların kullanılması çağrısı yapıldı.

3P KOALİSYON YAPACAK MI?

MRP ve AMP’nin koalisyonunu açıklamasının ardından gözler muhalefet blokuna çevrildi. Biz de ana muhalefet partisi 3P’ye koalisyon sorusunu yönelttik. Tunçay, bu konuda çalışmalarının olduğunu ancak koalisyon kuracakları partilerin programlarının önemli olduğunu vurguladı. 3P’nin yalnızca niceliksel çoğunluk sağlamak için koalisyon yapmayacağını, ilkesel uygunluğun daha önemli olduğunu belirtti. Ek olarak, hangi partiyle koalisyon yapılacağını partideki kişiler değil parti meclisinin belirleyeceğini ifade etti. Diğer taraftan, gerekirse koalisyon yapmadan da etkin bir muhalefet partisi olabileceklerini belirtti.
